ADN role-specific training for personnel involved in the inland waterways transport of dangerous goods

This training is designed for company personnel involved in the transport of dangerous goods by inland waterways, as well as for individuals seeking employment in companies engaged in dangerous goods transport or related operations. The training is fully compliant with Section 1.3 of the ADN Agreement. Under ADN regulations, employers are required to ensure that all personnel receive appropriate training before undertaking duties related to dangerous goods. This training is intended for all personnel involved in the inland waterways transport of dangerous goods.

Training frequency

Training should be regularly supplemented with refresher courses, taking into account regulatory updates.

Documentation

A certificate is issued upon completion of the training. Employers are required to retain this document and make it available to the employee or competent authority upon request. The certificate should also be verified when commencing new employment.
